SCRANTON, PA — The Lackawanna County District Attorney’s Office is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a grant by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) to implement a body-worn camera program for Lackawanna County Detectives by the end of 2021. Body cams protect law enforcement officers and citizens alike by documenting exactly what happened during an incident, thereby avoiding the necessity for costly court proceedings and saving the taxpayers money.
